COVERED BRIDGE RECORDS had it's humble beginnings with one instrumental acoustic guitar release in 1991. In
historic Knights Ferry, CA, one of Stanislaus County's showcases of natural beauty.
Since that time, Covered Bridge Records has had the privilege of working with the local artists from that region in order to
bring these talented individuals and their recordings to a farther and wider audience.
We are pleased to report that some of these artists including: FLYING BLIND, SHELLY STREETER and JOHN GOFORTH,
went on to either major label's and/or world wide distribution.
Their success stories are founded in their own passion, drive and hard work in pursuing quality recordings, aggressive
promotion and prolific live performances.
2010
Now, in the early 21st. Century COVERED BRIDGE RECORDS is located in the ArkLaTex region of the Southern United
States in order to bring the same opportunities to this historic entertainment region.
Within this region, as in many other rural regions across America, there lies a wealth of extraordinarily talented artists
who's original compositions, great recordings and live performances are seated among the very best.
These deserving artists are seemingly lost among the usual nightlife customary to the ArkLaTex experience, however as
you know, there are artists living in every "hometown" that are considered by their neighbors to be just as good if not better
than many "A" List acts out there today.
COALITION vs. CORPORATION
It is found that the vast majority of these artists have taken positive steps toward refining their own compositions,
procuring quality recordings, post production and video as well as honing their considerable talents in their live
performances. Thus the foundation of our efforts. Working with artists and groups in business to business relationships,
in order to procure even better professional services on their behalf, market, promote and sell the products for these
dedicated artists. Business is arranged with artists based on their own motivation and abilities. Some artists are pleased
with "regional" success, while others will inevitably push forward toward major labels, leading management and beyond.
One thing that sets these artists apart from their peers is "Professionalism". Our artists have proven themselves time and
time again by taking their own careers in their own hands, developed sound business practices, and above average work
